Food at UK City Resort Hotel is not merely sustenance — it is the centrepiece of your experience. Our Executive Chef James Hartwell and his team of 40 culinary artists draw inspiration from Britain's extraordinary larder, updated with global techniques and a restless creative spirit.

Across five distinct venues, you will find a dining experience for every occasion — from a celebratory dinner in The Gilded Dining Room to a late-night cocktail in the Amber Lounge, or a leisurely Sunday brunch on the Garden Terrace.

The Gilded
Dining Room

Our flagship restaurant is considered one of London's finest. The Gilded Dining Room seats 84 guests beneath its original coffered ceiling, adorned with hand-applied gold leaf. The tasting menu — seven courses — changes with the seasons and showcases the very best of British produce: aged Hereford beef, Cornish crab, Scottish langoustine.

Reservations are strongly recommended. Smart to black tie dress code. Open for dinner nightly and Sunday lunch.

The Amber Lounge

The Amber Lounge is the soul of the hotel after dark. Bathed in warm amber lighting filtered through antique glass, the bar offers the most comprehensive collection of aged spirits in central London — over 400 bottles, including a remarkable whisky library of over 200 expressions.

Our mixologists — several of them award-winning — create cocktails that are both technically brilliant and narratively compelling. The bar menu changes quarterly and is always guided by seasonality and a spirit of invention.

Live music Thursday–Sunday. Open until 2:00am Friday and Saturday.

The Garden Terrace

Alfresco dining in our landscaped courtyard. Seasonal menus, weekend brunches, and afternoon teas daily. Open May through October.

Crown Coffee Parlour

Single origin coffees, artisan pastries and light lunches in a relaxed setting off the main lobby. Open from 7:00am daily.

The Cellar Room

A private dining and wine tasting venue available for exclusive hire. Our sommelier hosts bespoke tasting evenings by arrangement.

Our private dining offerings range from intimate suppers for six in The Cellar Room to gala dinners for 280 in the Grand Ballroom. Every event is designed from scratch — bespoke menus, floral arrangements, entertainment — to reflect the vision and character of our guests.

A dedicated events manager will guide you from initial enquiry to the final toast. We handle every detail so you are free to simply enjoy the evening.
